Girls' Night? Maybe Not

It is just me and Abbie tonight. I thought maybe after we did all the usual stuff, we could do something fun. What exactly, I don't know.
But, around 7:30 tonight, I was going to put up some of her laundry and Abbie spotted her washable doll that was on top of the basket. She reached out for it and said "nigh nigh?" so I agreed since I thought she was just recognizing that she sometimes sleeps with that baby doll. But then she repeated it, put the doll down, and walked down the hall. I followed her and she walked into her room and pointed to her bed. I asked her if she wanted to go to bed and she said "yes" as sweetly as possible.

So....45 minutes later and Abbie is still sound asleep and I'm blogging.

Maybe when she is older, Abbie will understand that "Girls' Night" thing means you have to stay up past 7:30 at night!!!
