For those that are familiar with Abbie's bathtime woes that began this summer, let me just say they are not entirely resolved.
Abbie takes her nightly bath with me and has done so for months now. She still whines while I wash her hair, but otherwise loves it. She plays, colors, splashes, giggles, sings, lays down....you name it.
And did I mention she does all of this in my bathroom?? She has gone months in there so tonight I asked her (like I do about once a week) if she wanted to go back in her bathroom and tonight she actually said yes! WOW!
So, we gave it a shot. For the first 10 minutes or so, she loved it. She was so excited to play with some of her old toys. But the second I went to wash her hair, it was *over*!!! She was shaking, crying, totally freaked out!
So, I think we are back to square one. Oh well. Having your own bathroom is totally overrated anyway. Who doesn't love Elmo in the tub?!?!

I still haven't reclaimed my bathtub from Jackson's toys.
Have you tried her taking a shower? Maybe if she could play like it was raining, (maybe even include a small umbrella) then she wouldn't be so afraid of the water getting in her eyes.
