Abbie's New Toy

Well, apparently Abbie played with her cousin's toy laptop recently and loved it...according to my husband. So after that, he said we needed to find it and buy one for Abbie to have at home, so we finally found two left today and bought one! Oh, how I wish I had thought to turn the camera on when her daddy first put that laptop down in front of her! Her eyes got so big!!!

The video below was after we placed her in her booster seat. At first she was so excited that she would barely touch the thing, but it has been going ever since she finally calmed down. How cute is she???

Tonight we are heading over to some friends' house for a cookout to celebrate the wife's birthday. Apparently lots of kids are going and they insisted we bring Abbie. My mother offered to keep Abbie for us, but my husband said everyone else was bringing kids, so we needed to bring ours. Can I even remember the last time he and I had a date night??? Um, no. So, if we turn out to be the only ones with a kid...well, let's just say that dear ol' daddy will be in trouble! Not that I don't adore Abbie, but I pray she does not get sleepy and/or cranky. Keep your fingers crossed!
