Abbie had her 6-month pediatrician appointment today. The doc was running a whole hour behind!! But Abbie was an angel the entire time we waited. She just played and ate and chatted - so cute!
Abbie now weighs 15 pounds, 9 ounces and is 25 inches long. She was given the go-ahead to begin Stage 2 fruits, veggies and meats (yuck). But since she got more shots today, we stuck with the favorite- sweet potatoes.
Abbie still has a nasty cough but seems to feel fine. We are (temporarily) using the cold-mist humidifier and she seems to love the humming sound it makes. I just pray she is done coughing by, oh, tonight??? Well, soon at the very least.
I will also confess now that I snipped Abbie's finger for the first time tonight. I was heartbroken, but she barely grunted. There was blood on her, her clothes, her bib, my clothes...she even got it on my nose. Daddy was none too pleased when I went to show him. So Abbie got her second bath of the day, which of course she loves!!
I'm worn out and doing way too much lately, so I am down for the night, but I promise to post pictures soon. I have tons of new ones and I'll take a quick shot of her tomorrow...she will officially be 6 months old!!!

I can't believe she's already six months old!
She's such a sweet, sweet-tempered baby. She's such an angel and a delight to be around and keep. And boy oh BOY does she love her Uncle Yosh. She just looks so intently at him....just like she KNOWS he's about to do his big "dip" move with her.
I miss her.
