Abbie slept until about 6:15 on Christmas morning. She did her usual morning routine, which is to play in her bed and chat to a few of her stuffed animals. I used this play time to jump in the shower, so when I got out, she and her daddy were pretty much both ready to go check out what Santa had brought.
We have about 10 minutes of excellent footage of Abbie leaving her bedroom to go into our dining room and go through all her stuff (Check out my Facebook page for some pictures), but it would take days to load that on this site!
After Abbie had thoroughly checked out her new kitchen, shopping cart and accessories and pulled all of her wrapped gifts from us out of her new toy box, we decided to take a quick break so we could grab some coffee and make Abbie part of her breakfast. I had just gone off into the kitchen, and did not realize that Michael was still filming Abbie in the other room. She spotted our camcorder on the tripod and, well, you'll see. It is worth mentioning that somehow the phrase "be sweet" has come to equal kissing. And I actually just discovered this video tonight when I was uploading some other pictures. What a sweet little surprise!!!
