Cheering and Chatting

Abbie just keeps adding new words and phrases each day so it is never a dull moment around here. Lately, Abbie will hold her hands up in the air and yell "weeeee" whenever I make a turn or pull away from a stop in the car. Now, I should say, I am not speeding or doing anything else crazy in the car, but suddenly she treats it like a roller coaster! Where do they come up with this stuff??? (Honestly, I'm not speeding)

Abbie also starts cheering, clapping, and yelling "HOME!" when we turn into our neighborhood in the afternoon. Michael had told me she does this, but this week I've been picking her up due to Michael's work schedule, and I just laugh and laugh each time she does it! It is hilarious to witness. And I really do love the fact that Abbie loves being home with us.

Our nights have become more hectic than ever lately. Either Michael has to work late, weird hours, I have a meeting or get stuck at my office late, so this past week I just can't think of a night that we have both been home together with Abbie, which I do NOT like. But I feel like it is temporary. Hopefully. But since Abbie wants to go to bed earlier and earlier each night, it really is a race against the clock to get her fed, bathed, clothed and in bed (don't forget books, brushing teeth, etc.) before she just passes out. Lately she wants to go to bed around 7 and she usually sleeps until 6:30 or 7 the next day. BIZARRE!!! She never slept this much as an infant, so we just don't know how to handle it now. It is only 7:30 PM now and it is quiet. Really, really quiet.

I miss her. (I know, I've got it bad.)
