Just letting you know that Abbie's daddy is now a happy daddy! I think Miss Abbie was giving him a complex. Ever since last Sunday, he kept trying to get Abbie to roll over. NO WAY, NO HOW!!
But alas, she rolled over for him today. Twice, in fact!!! She still looks so confused when suddenly she is laying on her back. And this time she had me and her daddy yelling and clapping. She would just lay there, moving her eyes from Daddy to Mommy and back to Daddy. And then came the grin!!!
Abbie has a cute little giggle going on now too. She is most likely to do this when I'm wiping her drool-soaked neck (gross!!) or when I am taking her clothes off. I think she is quite ticklish.
Oh, and don't think we are done growling yet. In fact, I think she's louder now than she was a week ago with that. Still adorable!!!
Keep your fingers crossed and say a little prayer for me on Monday, please. Abbie starts daycare and I'm a nervous wreck!!! While this place comes highly recommended, I basically feel that I will be leaving my child with complete strangers (all-over shudder)!! I was blessed and fortunate enough to have a stay-at-home mommy when I was little, so this whole daycare thing is completely foreign to me. Apparently, Abbie is about to become one of those babies with her name plastered over all her belongings. Ugh. I don't even know how to go about handling her clothes. Writing in them with magic marker just seems tragic to me...I cannot fathom. What's an OCD mommy to do???
