Dear DHR, It wasn't me this time, I promise!

I know it is not the best picture, but trying to take a picture of a toddler is about as difficult as, well, as difficult as putting clothes on a toddler. Or as difficult as brushing a toddler's teeth. Or as...um, you get the idea. They just don't stand still very often.

Hopefully you can make out the busted lip. This happened at daycare and I was not even in the building *wipes sweat from forehead* when it happened. Turns out Miss Abigail fought with a table and clearly the table won.

All jokes aside, this looked worse than it was, I believe. It bled a fair bit right after it happened, so we are told, but it never slowed her down otherwise. We refrained from anything spicy or acidic for a few days, but you can barely tell it happened even just a few days later.

In other news, Abbie is quite the chatty child lately. Her favorite words are: no, go, Eh-mo (Elmo), Abby (I spell it that way because she is referring to Abby Cadabby of Sesame Street), Ah-ker (Oscar), teees (cheese), cah (car), bat (bath), and of course uh-oh. She will randomly repeat pretty much anything that comes out of my mouth or her daddy's mouth. But her new word of choice is baby, but this can be used to describe pretty much anything that is smaller than she is. It is really cute when she calls her baby doll that, but gives us the giggles when she calls any other small stuffed animals or toys this, such as a Care Bear that she shoves into her toy stroller and walks throughout the house. She will snatch it back out, hold it up proudly to us and say "BABY!" and then off she goes again.

I changed my mind (again). This, right now, is my favorite age of Miss Abbie. So funny and soooo cute!

You are so going to have your hands full with that active little girl!

And I'm with you; every stage of parenting is more fun than the last in my opinion!

Have a great day!
