Cars & Boys

When I went to pick Abbie up this afternoon, I was informed that she and one of the little boys in her class shared a quick kiss together. Apparently they were sitting next to each other, each on their own mat, and they looked at each other and then leaned in and pecked.

Abbie's teacher said it was really, really cute, but she still immediately separated them and told them we do not need to kiss each other in class.

I am soooo glad I was the one that picked her up today. I shudder to think what her daddy would have done to that sweet little red-headed boy. Yup, you read that correctly. My little red found another little red to hang out with during the day.

*sigh*

In other news, I found out this evening that Abbie is a big fan of the Disney movie "Cars"! Who knew? She found the DVD in the Disney stash and came stomping up to me, waving it in the air. We put it in and she would sit still for about 10 minutes at a time and just stare at it. Then she would run off and play in her room, but then come back and crawl up on the couch between us and watch a little bit more.

It was pretty fun getting to watch a Disney movie with her, even if she only watched in bits and pieces.
