I think that is an exact quote! That was a bit of what Abbie was babbling tonight. And I am so excited about it!!!

Up until now, while Abbie can ooooooh and aaaaaah with the best of them, she has shown no interest in mimicking sounds that others make. I was not really too hung up on it either, since I know it is coming. I'm due. I've earned it. I will have a chatty child and I am pretty sure it will be this child! So why rush it!?!?! She already tries to drown my out by making happy hollering sounds while I am talking, so seriously, why rush it?!?!

But it was still so cute to hear her making these new sounds! Of course, I would get so excited and she would just look up at me, like, "Mommy, I say this stuff all the time - nothing new."

She is so adorable lately. She has so much personality. She makes the silliest faces, especially if she hears songs from "Blue's Clues"!!! Heaven help us, but Michael and I know all these songs already. We let her watch one episode a night and she gets so excited now when it comes on the TV. I really thought children would have to be a bit older before something like a TV show would capture their attention, but just add that to the list of things I had wrong!
